I went 'Live' on my 'SmileyDaveUK' Facebook account a few weeks back and it was an incredible experience. The realisation that people were genuinely wanting to find out my back story was one of the best and weirdest feelings. You guys were telling me how far away you were from the UK. Arizona, Montreal, Cyprus, Cambra, New South Wales. I was on there for 45 minutes and it felt like 10 miuntes, It was so much fun and I'm going to do it again when I hit 10K Likes on there, so if you missed it don't panic!
The main thing to come out of it was that people were excited about a Podcast hosted by me. I've been sitting on this idea for quite some time because I want to find the right people to do it with. I've got a great concept and if you're a fan of Ed Gamble and James Acasters 'Off Menu' Podcast this will be right up your street. I plan ton getting the first 4 episodes in the bag before the first one is aired so that I don't have to rush the first season and it gives me time to intice guests that would be willing to come on the show.
In other news, I've had a lot of issues with clothing distributors which actually stopped me from writing and making videos because I was so worried. Thank you to everyone that bought the pre-orders, you really have helped me start the whole merchandice side of things but the first samples came back and they were terrifying. So much so that the whole thing is going to be a part of my stand up show later in the year. Everything is now sorted with a new distributor and even though, everything's been pushed back, the masks are finally on their way to me and then to you with a hand written 'Thank you note' for the first 100.
I'm still new at this blog thing, so I will improve and at least get a weekly segment out there, thanks for subcribing and sharing the videos, it really does mean the world to me x

You'll probably never know how much your stuff gives me reason to laugh and/or hope in these politically created hard times. I hope you got my 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SMILEY DAVE!" message on July 10 this year. I usually never forget people's B-days. Being the fortune-teller I am especially.
