Facebook Prison Blues

What a whirlwind the last 3 months have been!

In that time I've been scammed, banned and tanned... well maybe not tanned but it sounds better than saying, 'There was a sunny day in England, I stepped outside and a wasp chased me back in.'

For everyone outside the UK, when we get the Sun here, it's like watching cavemen experiencing a solar eclipse. Some get scared because they don't know what that yellow thing in the sky is or how long it's going to last and question why the plants are pointing towards it like some kind of pollen god. A lot of us get confused and resort to 'Purge' tactics until we get back to a normal grey, that we're much more comfortable with, break out a cup of tea and then complain about the weather.

The scamming and banning meant I couldn't get any Facebook vids accepted by Facebook which sucked incredibly. I was really proud of the Trader Joe's video but because it wasn't accepted due to the ban (that I didn't know I had at the time) so it didn't get pushed out. It was a bit disheartening at the time because I didn't know if it was the content, or the subject matter that was the problem but after the most recent video went out and was accepted by Facebook, the twinkle in my eye returned! After several eye baths to get rid of it, I started writing and editing content a lot easier and with ferocity!

The lives have been incredibly fun. If you've managed to join me on Facebook and Twitch thank you! I truly hope you've enjoyed it because I want to continue doing them. It's something that I started to do because it was taking a while for my videos to come out but I could still see the news bringing out worse and worse info and sanctions and I knew I could go live and get people's mind off of it with my energy and silly, silly jokes. A lot of things that happen in the world are due to necessity and I promise you that I needed those live shows way more than you guys did. The fact I have a community now, filled with people that are sweet, caring and hilarious is just mind blowing.

There's loads more I want to talk about but I'll save it for the next blog. Thank you, as always, for joining me on this journey, I have no idea where it's going to end up but I promise you it's going to be exciting.

Please check out the Merch before you go, all money goes to supporting the channel and funding the Pilot for my sitcom!

All the love,

Smiles x
